“Women Influencing the Nation was formed in the Summer of 2003 and originally began when a group of women (all mothers)from different states across the country decided to organize and speak up, each in our own local community, to defend the right of a Christian to produce and make a factually based movie that was true to the Gospels. This, of course, was when Mel Gibson was being attacked for making the movie The Passion of The Christ. Our efforts exploded onto the national scene and over 200 leaders emerged as representatives of Women Influencing the Nation.”
